The first company to create automated environmentally friendly self-serving kiosk systems distributing a variety of worldwide goods. Outerwall is the parent company to Coinstar, ecoATM, and Redbox.
Entering into a new market for ecoATM was never an easy task as you not only had to gain brand awareness but the approval from the legislatures.
In the summer of 2015, Kent was responsible for leading the charge for creating the needed marketing material to help open the first ecoATM outside of the mainland United States, in Puerto Rico. This required updating videos and translating marketing pieces into Spanish.
Here are some of the aspects of this project:
Organized the creation of the marketing materials in the Spanish language to assist in opening the first ecoATM in Puerto Rico.
Collaborated with party agencies to create subtitles for videos to attract both English and Spanish speaking users.
Mobile devices can hold some of our most sensitive information. Reformating the device can be a daunting task if you are unsure of what to do.
As the Marketing Associate, Kent partnered with his Marketing Manager to cross collaborate with all departments company-wide to execute ecoATM's leadership team's vision of creating documentation on how to get the device ready to sell.
Here is some additional information on the project:
The "How to Prepare or Resale Guide" was ranked sixth most visited site on ecoATM.com within two weeks.
ABC San Diego featured the article on its newscast.
Creating a positive experience for a user can be extremely helpful for a consumer, especially when it comes to finding a small kiosk in a big mall.
During Kent's tenure at ecoATM, he worked tirelessly with his Marketing Manager to purchase media (ex: mall banners) that would help consumers know where the kiosk would be located.
Here are some of the different aspects of the project:
Purchased media throughout the United States such as wall wraps, food tent stands, and online media buys.
Responsible for updating ecoATM's kiosk placement on ecoATM.com and through media purchases.
